Asbestos Testing
CTG Environmental’s asbestos professionals have considerable experience in performing inspections for asbestos-containing materials (ACM) at sites ranging from small stand-alone buildings to facilities with multiple locations.
Building Inspections / Surveys
CTG certified professionals inspect buildings for asbestos-containing materials and prepare a detailed report of their findings, including a survey of the areas inspected.
Abatement Project Design & Specification
CTG certified asbestos remediation specialists create a Project Design Manual/Specification containing a full description of the means and methods by which asbestos-containing materials will be abated during a renovation or demolition project to assure government compliance, safe working conditions, and re-inhabitation of the work space after abatement is complete.
Abatement Project Oversight
Throughout the course of the asbestos abatement project, CTG Environmental functions as an independent, third-party representative of the building owner for liability minimization, assurance of appropriate work practices, cost containment, and regulatory agency interface.
Air Monitoring
CTG Environmental performs asbestos air monitoring to ensure that control measures are effective during disturbance or removal of asbestos containing materials.
Phase Contrast Microscopy
During asbestos abatement, CTG asbestos technicians collect on-site air samples on a filter medium that is dissolved during sample preparation so that the collected fibers can then be counted. Using a phase contrast microscope, the collected fibers are counted under 400x magnification. PCM analysis is fast and affordable.
Demolition Planning
When a structure to be demolished contains asbestos, CTG Environmental creates a detailed asbestos removal specification from the survey. The specification provides a scope of work that can be used for bidding. Compliance with the specification ensures a complete and safe job that meets regulatory compliance.
AHERA Inspections & Management
CTG’s professionals are certified technicians experienced in conducting statistically reliable AHERA building inspections for educational institutions Grades K-12 using valid analytical means and methods.
