Environmental Testing
CTG technicians provide on-site soil sample collection, laboratory analysis, and accurate identification of hazardous materials, plus remediation planning, oversight, and post-remediation on-site soil testing.
Phase I ESA
CTG performs Phase I ESA with comprehensive government database and historical research, as well as local fire department and building department records for a property. Evaluation of the property and adjoining properties and processing the collected information are performed to prepare a report of our findings.
Phase II Sampling
CTG performs Phase II sampling and laboratory analysis to confirm the presence of hazardous materials in surface soil and water samples, subsurface soil, groundwater, drums, floor drains, catch basins, transformers and capacitors, geophysical testing for buried tanks and drums, and testing of underground storage tanks.
AST/UST Assessment
CTG assesses the presence of petroleum products, solvents, and wastes in both above-ground storage tanks (AST) and underground storage tanks (UST) quickly and efficiently. Our environmental professionals are experienced in this highly regulated area of environmental management.
Regulatory Compliance Review
CTG assists its clients in achieving or identifying the need for regulatory compliance with applicable federal safety and environmental regulations. Regulatory compliance consulting includes compliance with regulations, ways to mitigate potential liabilities, and help to avoid penalties, sanctions, or other legal punishment. CTG can assist companies in creating and implementing organizational policies, standards, and procedures to comply with applicable regulations, goals, and rewards. In addition, CTG can identify ways to enforce standards through disciplinary policies to ensure the organization achieves and maintains government compliance.
Hazardous Material / Chemical Identification
CTG utilizes the voluntary hazard rating scheme developed by American Coatings Association (ACA) to help employers comply with workplace labeling requirements of the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) revised Hazard Communication Standard (HCS). HMIS communicates on site chemical hazard information through the use of colors, numbers, and letters of the alphabet to identify the type and severity of the potential hazards.
Health & Safety Consulting
CTG professionals perform OSHA compliance audits, negative and initial exposure studies, develop activity hazard analyses (AHAs) / job hazard analyses (JHAs), review and manage Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) / Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and general health and safety consulting.
Site Remediation Management
CTG offers turn-key site remediation services, including expert evaluation of feasible remedial action alternatives, engineering design of remediation systems, implementation of large and small-scale soil and groundwater remedial action projects, construction management, operation and maintenance, post-remediation monitoring, and reporting services. CTG provides comprehensive remediation consulting services – from evaluation of feasible remedial action alternatives and preparation of effective remedial action work plans to design and implementation of innovative soil and groundwater remediation systems – including remedial action alternatives that are fully integrated into redevelopment plans.
